就算会问,通常也会说
[Are you the youngest or oldest child in your family?]
然后答者 会说 no or yes
No,I'm the first/second or third child in my family?
Yes,I'm the youngest child in my family.
Yes,I'm the oldest child in my family.
如果答者只说 No
那么你就要问他/她
[So,are you the first/second or third child in your family?]
这时他/她就应该会告诉你.
不过有些地道话是这样的 不过很少见
[What is your place in your family?]
或者
[what is your order of birth in your family/of your siblings.]
[what is your birth order in your family/of your siblings.]
第几 的表达有很多
比如
where did he come in [where] 这词
她得了第几名
which of your high school year was the toughest [which] 这词
你高中最艰难的是[第几]年
what chapter is it?[what] 这词
[第几] 章
