Research on the Costs Covered in Construction Projects
Abstract
The key to the sustainable development of a business is maximization of profits, costs cutting being the most efficient and fundamental means to realize profits.However, in many construction enterprises, managers currently do not possess considerable management skills, do not have perfect costs control systems. They unreasonablely stick to the out-dated experience and methods to control and manage the construction, substituting contracting for managing, favoring contracting over managing. Scientific calculation and costs analysis are not carried out so that the project costs control becomes formalistic.The results are high construction costs and poor profits.The paper summarizes the theories about the project costs control and the content of the costs control in construction, explains the costs control principles and methods, and lists the problems about the costs control during construction, and puts forward the detailed costs control measures.
