at the end of 的意思是“在……结束时、在……的尽头”,可用以指时间或处所,强调一段时间的结束点或某段路程的终止处.

去年年终我校举行了一次运动会.

on the end of表示在某个物品的端头,不如说在桌子的另一端头

例如：One was a container on the end of the wing.

其中一次是在机翼一端悬挂了一个容器.

还有个是in the end,后面不能加of,表示最后,比如说一件事的最后等.
