看主动还是被动,除了看句意外,还要看用什么动词.比如本句中的动词burn和light就是主动关系,即The light is burning.
再如：他的妈妈坐在椅子上,他站着.
With his mother sitting on the chair,he stood.
同样是坐着,如果动词seat(使……就做）,就用过去分词：With his mother seated on the chair,he stood.
with 的复合结构这句话,灯还开着,他睡着了.He fell asleep with the light still
