obtains ----谓语
no hold on the mind.]这里的hold不可能做谓语,因为前面有no.hold on the mind 是个短语.我没有查到hold on the mind的短语,但是这里的意思很明显就是带有主动意思的“掌握”.
不要觉得knowledge只能被获得,英语中很多情况都是用主动的形式表被动.我们翻译的时候就讲主动形式翻译成被动的意思.我尽力了.
