答：there be句型中的主语在be后.第一句话,光看形式,显然主语是holiday,当然是单数了.但是又与你讲的实际情况不符.一个月里有4个周日或四个周末.那就不会有这个问题了：
There are four Sundays /weekends in a month.
第二句话和第一句话是一个意思,两种表达.上一句用名词所有格作holiday的定语,下一句用合成形容词作定语,因为讲的同周日或周末的情况,造句本身不合逻辑.无法回答.

He has 4 days off in a month.(every month)
There are 4 days off in a month (every month) (for him).
这句中的off是副词作后置定语,off就是电器上那个“关”.表示不上班,off了!
