The article briefly introduces few application studies of statistical forecasting. The forecast can mainly be classified into qualitative and quantitative forecasts. This article has introduced the principle, advantages and weaknesses of the application. It adopts Delphi Technique in qualitative forecast and detailedly introduce its application of principle. In quantative forecast we choose linear regression forecasting of single variable and multi-variates regression forecasting and explore the principles and their applications of these two quantitative forecasts.
