In the story A Tale of Two cities,my favourate role who is also the most moveing role is the assistant of the lawyer,Sydney Carlton.He was an excellent lawyer,although he seemed idle and indulged.He was willing to help others to be successful.He compromised with the surrounding,but sometimes he was incompatibale with others.It seemed that he built a wall which had isolated him with the fame,with the benefits and with the society,stayed alone.Sydney Carlton's deep love with Lucy Manette was moving people to tears,his lofty personality shocked many people.His lofty love is out of imagination.Finally he got the peace of his heart,being a victim on the sacrificial altar.With the true love taking leave from his lover,but he would be forever in the heart of the lover.
