synthesis of triphenylamine with catalysis of copper assisted by N,O ligands
The traditional synthetic method of triphenylamine was that the diphenylamine as a main material reacted with iodobenzene and a alikali,copper-based as a catalyst,in an organic solvent under condition of argon protection. In order to increase the yield of triphenylamine, the traditional method was improved by N,O ligands introduced for assistance of copper-based catalysis in this study.
The influences of different ligands, organic solvents, various coppers ,alkalis on the reaction were investigated. The results showed that the catalyst of copper-based assisted by the N,O- ligands the yield of triphenylamine was up to 78.02%.
