  • The phenomenon shown in Fig. 1 is caused by squeezing and collision during transit.

    The problem shown in Fig. 3 is caused by occasional equipment malfunctioning in the course of production including, for example, non-standard product shape, damaged or unevenly cut pins resulting from the failure of the resistors to travel along the equipment track and their consequent dropping, or pins cut from the previous resistor during the shaping process which failed to fall in time and were as a result squeezed to the next resistor, thereby causing indentation to its pins.

    Fig. 4 shows the resistors which, because of the pin bending before the shaping process, become irregularly shaped after passing through the tracks of the forming machine.

    Fig. 9 shows the sleeve which, due to non-standard installation, is shifted to one side after the thermal shrinkage.

    Fig. 10 shows the wear points of the forming machine's cutter after being used in production for long periods. Burrs are formed when resistor pins fall on the cutter's wear points in the shaping process.
