My hometown is a beautiful city ---Suzhou.It is a small city in Jiangsu Province.Welcome to Suzhou!
First,Suzhou has a long history.People in Suzhou build lots of bridges.Some are small and short,some are very long.For example,Baodai Bridge is very long and you can count moons in the river at the Mid-Autumn Festival.why do people here love to build bridges?Because there are so many rivers here.Suzhou is a city of water!On the banks,you can see many houses.The houses are different from each other.The walls are white and the tiles are black.Look!A boat is in the river.There’s no pollution here.It’s quiet.
Oh,there’s something I have to say.Suzhou is also a good place to travel.After enjoying our local classical gardens,you can go to hotels in Shiquan Street.I think you’ll have a good rest.What can you eat in Suzhou?There’re many restaurants here.They are from different areas and countries.If you want to eat noodles and pastry,you are here in the right place.Do you know the shop called “ Huang Tian Yuan”?
You can enjoy Pingtan performance here,too.Do you know Pingtan?No?Well,never mind.We can invite you to our local theater to watch it.
Next,you must go to Suzhou Library to have a look.It is on Ren Min Road.It’s very large and quiet.I think it is a good place to read books.
Suzhou is also a modern city.It’s only 20 minutes from the center of Suzhou—Guanqian Street to Suzhou Industrial Park by bike.There’are lots of tall buildings and large factories.People living here are from different countries.But all of them can speak good English.
