eturn是不及物动词,后面不能直接跟名词,所以要加介词to:
return to school
return to my home(my home是名词性的词组,home在这里也是名词“家”的意思)
但后面是副词的时候,就不用加to:
return home(home在这里是副词“向家里,往家里”的意思)
