  • Dear uncle,

Hello, uncle! How's everything in America?

To tell you the truth, I actually don't feel alright recently, and most of the problems come from my parents. You know, I am in high school, and the studying pressure is already all around me. However, instead of supporting me, my parents always want more from me, even more than I can possibly reach, consequently when I failed their expectations, they often made a comparison between me and my peers to depress me.

Moreover, they have constraints on me in my spare time too, such as, watching TV or surfing the internet, which are actually forbidden to me. And I am not allowed to make friends with girls, sometimes even conversations are under controll, because in their opinion, it costs too much of my studying time and will distract me from concentrating. All they want now seem to be that, I shall spend all my time studying for the NMET without any personal life going on alongside.

This gap stands long between me and my parents, which allows me little chance to communicate with them. I sincerely hope, if there's not too much trouble, that you could talk to them about my problem and their unbearable way of education. I think that will do much help to the strange thing that's going on between me and my parents.

    Best wishes!
