In recent years, the volunteering spirit has spread among the Chinese people, especially among youngsters.
Five years ago, several of my classmates and I once served as volunteers for the Beijing Olympic Games. In that period of time, I helped arrange for the sports courts, translate for foreign athletes and visitors, and sometimes guide them to right places. It delighted me a lot that I had made a contribution to the success of the Games and brought happiness to others.
As high school students, we should get actively involved in voluntary activities. In this way, we can learn how to work well in a team, how to improve our interpersonal skills and organizational ability. Above all, we can benefit others and gain happiness ourselves. So we should take this chance to learn and to grow.
