1. I like the emphasis on physics and math. Most of all, I like the fact that i'm getting a good education...the logic and reasoning skills I think would be useful in a variety of fields. I also like how, in my school, there are 14 different EE major concentrations. Therefore, I was able to find some that appealed to me.
2. Its definitely easy to get internships with this degree, both in hardware and software if you have additional experience.
3. What I dislike: probably some of the beginning classes are a lot of number crunching...I don't find circuit analysis terribly interesting. So in that sense it is tedious, but gradually becomes more interesting.
4. Class demographics: 90% male, 10% female. Of the 10% female, they are all asians. A lot of asian guys as well, probably the majority are white. Not a whole lot of diversity.
