Last year I joined a voluntary activity.On the morning of a Sunday,myfriends and I visited a Nursing Home in the suburb of our city.There wereabout 80 aged people living there.We cleaned their rooms and talked with them happily.They seemed to be excited about our coming and chatted a lot with us.At noon we came back home.
I’ve learned fromthis experience helping others means helping ourselves.When we volunteer,we have tocommunicate with others.This provides a chance for us to gain experience and skills.And we can know more aboutsociety and ourselves,which helps us to find out what we can do in the future.
