Barium hydroxide catalyzed transesterification of castor oil biodiesel
Studied with castor oil as raw material,barium hydroxide as a heterogeneous base catalyst,transesterification biodiesel.Study the reaction of methanol to oil molar ratio,catalyst amount and reaction time on yield and castor oil biodiesel conversion rate.The results show that the castor oil with barium hydroxide as catalyst in the transesterification reaction in the appropriate conditions:methanol to oil molar ratio of 6:1,10:1,catalyst amount,reaction time 90 min
