Abstract:
Linear regression,a well studied and mature model,is an important part
in linear model.The research on it is fruitful and it has been widely applied.
This paper reviewed the history,concept,theory and methods of parameter
estimate and hypothesis testing.The author first summarizes the definition of
simple regression,least square estimation and its characteristics,and correlation
coefficient testing.Then the author expands this to multiple regression model
and give examples to illustrate the application of regression model.
