Last weekend, I made a survey among 3,000 middle school students about their Internet addiction. According to the survey, slightly more than ten percent of the students addict themselves to surfing the Internet, among whom, we can see, boys are much more than girls. Generally speaking, boys are trapped into playing computer games while girls prefer chatting on-line. Experts said that the reason for Internet addiction is so complicated that at present there is no cure for it. It is suggested that students should not only do more outdoor exercises but also communicate with others more actively.
