the second planet
this movie tells the story of two people's fates have been changed by a car accident.lily is imprisioned because of this accident.when she is set free,she cannot face herself for a long time,she believes that there must be another earth,and she wants to go to that distant planet to escape from her soul.at the same time,tom also becomes very depressed after lossing his dear ones in the accident,he drinks every day to escape from the reality.in order to atone her guilts she helps tome to clean his house,during the interactions,they fall in love.although this is a mistake,LIly confesses to him that she was the one who was guilty for that accident,tom felt defeated and couldn't face the truth,just like the old man in the movie.they all made mistakes but they dared not to face.therefore they chose to escape.however,the girl faced up to the world and herself,and gave the chance to go to the second planet to tom.things seems to be satisfactory,Tom would reunite with his family,but when lily encountered another self,we know that the second planet wouldn't change anything.what we should do is to face our inner soul and make the self-salvation.
